Katie Price has admitted she has "hurt people deeply" and "made mistakes" in the trailer for her upcoming documentary series, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide. The four-part series, set to air on Sky and streaming service Now from July 8, offers an intimate look into the life of the former glamour model, now 48.
Trailer Reveals Candid Confessions
In the trailer, Price says: "I know I have hurt people deeply, and I know I've made mistakes." The footage then cuts to Gareth Gates, with whom she had a fling in 2002 when he was 17 and she was 23. At the time, Price was six months pregnant and later sold the story of their brief relationship. The trailer opens with a voice-over by her mother, Amy Price, describing her daughter as "quite shy as a little girl."
Price reflects on her public persona, stating she "always felt misunderstood" and that "no one got to see the vulnerable side... never." Her mother continues: "Once she got that camera turned in front of her, she turned into a completely different person." One contributor notes that Price "throws these little bombs and wants to see what they do," while her mother adds: "We had to do something, otherwise we'd lose her."
Ex-Husband Alex Reid Speaks Out
Price's ex-husband Alex Reid, whom she was married to for just under a year from 2010, says in the trailer that she "emasculated" him. Price is then heard saying: "I've got nothing to hide. I am what I am. It's like watching a movie, isn't it?"
Price rose to fame under her alter ego Jordan as a Page 3 girl in 1996. She later appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, where she met her future husband Peter Andre. She has also featured on Celebrity Big Brother and Loose Women, and has starred in several of her own reality shows and documentaries.
A Life in the Spotlight
Her private life has been played out under the spotlight, with Price being engaged nine times and married four times. The television star has spoken openly about having a string of cosmetic surgeries over the years, including breast enhancements and face lifts.
Katie Price: Nothing To Hide will be available on Sky and streaming service Now from July 8.
