Katie Price Insists She's 'Healthy' After GMB Host Susanna Reid Airs Weight Concerns

Katie Price has insisted she is 'healthy' after Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid expressed concern over her dramatic weight loss. Appearing on the ITV programme on Monday, the 47-year-old former glamour model addressed fears from fans and family, stating she has undergone medical tests to determine the cause.

Susanna Reid told Katie she was 'very, very, very skinny' and asked if she was overusing weight loss medication. Katie replied that she had visited doctors for blood tests and even a stool sample, explaining: 'I look too skinny, I look gaunt. I have been to the doctors to see why am I losing weight.' She added that tests showed she was not using Ozempic, but was lacking in iron and going through premenopause.

Katie confirmed: 'I am healthy, so nobody worry about me.' Susanna then said, 'You are healthy, and you are happy,' to which Katie replied, 'Yes, very happy.' However, fans had previously voiced concern after photos emerged of her looking extremely thin while shopping with her daughter Princess Andre in January.

On her podcast, Katie had acknowledged the concerns, saying: 'I know I look gaunt, I look like I'm ill – hence why I'm going to the doctors tomorrow.' She promised to update fans once she knew more.

Katie also discussed her marriage to Dubai-based Lee Andrews, which has drawn criticism from family and friends. She defended the relationship, stating: 'I am older, I can make my own decisions. It just feels so right.' She contrasted this with past relationships, which she described as 'toxic, coercive, controlling, mental abuse, physical abuse.'
