Kathy Griffin has appeared to confirm her relationship with a 22-year-old man on Instagram. The 65-year-old comedian shared a paparazzi-style photo of herself hand-in-hand with the mystery man as he opened a car door.
The post was captioned: "He's 22. Have at it, internet." Among the comments was one from friend Courtney Stodden, who previously married a man 35 years her senior.
Griffin had earlier deleted a photo with an older man, suggesting she has moved on. Last year, she wrote about falling for a 23-year-old after her split from ex-husband Randy Bick, saying the younger man lacked the sexism she encountered with older partners.
However, she later admitted the age gap might be problematic due to different life stages, saying: "He’s 23. You have no idea." Griffin has previously stated she wants a partner who is nice and can handle her career as a comedian.
