Katherine Ryan's husband describes water-skiing accident that caused temporary penis shrinkage

Katherine Ryan's husband, Bobby Kootstra, has revealed that a water-skiing accident left him briefly fearing he had developed a micro penis. The incident occurred while he was trying out a child's water jet ski with a friend, and he felt a pop in his groin.

Speaking on the couple's podcast, Bobby said the injury led to noticeable shrinkage for about a week. He turned to Google to understand what was happening, searching for 'torn groin, small penis'. He learned that such an injury can cause the penis to shrink into itself due to muscle damage.

Medically, a micro penis is defined as a penis measuring 3.6 inches or less when erect. Bobby joked that although he matched that description after the accident, he was relieved to find the cause was linked to the injury rather than an unrelated condition. He said: 'I knew at least it was because of this that my penis is so tiny now.'

Katherine responded with her characteristic humour, noting that Bobby had already fathered four children before the accident, telling him: 'You've had a good run.' Bobby laughed and agreed, saying he wondered what he needed a penis for now, to which Katherine replied: 'Great, thanks.'
