Comedian Katherine Ryan has given birth to her third child, a daughter named Fenna Grace, born at the family home in north London in the early hours of Friday morning. The news was announced by her partner, Bobby Kootstra, who shared intimate photos on Instagram.
Bobby described Katherine, 39, as 'incredible' during the 'relatively lengthy' home birth. Katherine had previously expressed a preference for home delivery, having nearly given birth to her first child in a mini-cab.
Fenna Grace joins older siblings Violet, 13, from Katherine's previous relationship, and son Fred, one, whom she had with Bobby in June 2021. The couple rekindled their teenage romance in Canada after a chance encounter while Katherine was filming for BBC's Who Do You Think You Are.
Katherine has spoken candidly about her relationship with Bobby, noting that her daughter Violet initially struggled with the union but now adores him. The couple entered a civil partnership and settled in the UK.
