Eve Myles has praised her The Crow Girl co-star Katherine Kelly for an "extraordinary" performance in the thriller. The pair star as DCI Jeanette Kilburn (Myles) and psychotherapist Dr Sophia Craven (Kelly) hunting a killer in the adaptation of Erik Axl Sund's best-selling Scandinavian novel.

Katherine told Digital Spy that Eve was "astonishing" in the role, while Eve revealed how "proud" she was of her co-star, best known for playing Becky McDonald on Coronation Street from 2006 to 2012. "I cannot give you a single scene where Katherine Kelly is not extraordinary," Myles said. "I don't use that word lightly, but she is extraordinary. Breathtaking. Bold, ambitious, tender, beautiful." She added that Katherine was "absolutely a sensation" in the series, which also stars Dougray Scott.

The first series of the tense drama is currently airing on Channel 5, while series two is on Paramount+. Viewers have called the story "a masterpiece" and praised the "great acting" and "suspenseful" tale.
