Kate, Murray, Goulding Among Stars at Wimbledon Day Four

The Princess of Wales, Sir Andy Murray, and Ellie Goulding were among the stars attending the fourth day of the Wimbledon Championships on Thursday.

Princess of Wales Surprises Fans

Catherine made her first appearance at this year's Wimbledon Championships, surprising fans in the ticket queue while wearing a vibrant blue suit. She has been a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) since 2016.

The Princess was later photographed in the crowds watching Great Britain's Katie Swan during her Ladies' Singles match against Madison Keys of the United States. She was joined by former tennis stars Anne Keothavong and Sir Andy Murray.

Other Notable Attendees

MasterChef judge Marcus Wareing was also spotted in the crowds, sporting a navy suit with a white shirt and light blue tie, completed with black sunglasses.

Singer Ellie Goulding and her partner, actor Beau Minniear, watched the tennis from the royal box. Goulding wore a black and white polka-dotted outfit, while Minniear wore a light blue suit and grey tie. Their appearance comes months after the pair welcomed the birth of their daughter, Goulding's second child. The "Burn" singer gave birth to her first child Arthur in 2021 with her ex-husband, art dealer Caspar Jopling. In June, Goulding, 39, released a new single and announced the release of her sixth studio album this autumn.

Lioness Lucy Bronze and Sir Cliff Richard

Also in the royal box was Lioness Lucy Bronze, who wore a burgundy and white mesh outfit with black sunglasses and her hair up in a bun. The England defender has just signed a contract extension to remain at Chelsea until next summer. The right-back has made 56 appearances for the Blues since signing from Barcelona before the 2024-25 season, scoring five goals and collecting four trophies. Bronze has also won 148 caps for England since June 2013, scoring 22 goals, and was an integral part of the Lionesses becoming European champions in 2022 and 2025.

Sir Cliff Richard, 85, returned to the All England Club, keeping up his attendance streak and attending the first four days of the tournament. The singer was spotted in the royal box wearing a red velvet suit jacket with a black lining, completed with a white shirt and a bright pink tie.

Wimbledon continues on Friday.
