Kate Garraway thanks 'gallant stranger' for lifting her at Oasis gig

Former Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway relived her youth at Oasis's Wembley Stadium gig, where she was lifted onto a stranger's shoulders during the performance. The 58-year-old attended the show with her children, enjoying the reunion of Liam and Noel Gallagher for the first time in 15 years.

In an Instagram post, Garraway thanked the 'gallant stranger' who hoisted her up for the song 'Champagne Supernova'. She joked that he may not have realised her weight or the length of the track, but expressed her eternal gratitude. The post also included a selfie with the man.

Oasis announced their comeback tour in August 2024, with tickets selling out rapidly. The tour includes further UK dates at Murrayfield in Edinburgh, followed by shows in Ireland, North America, Asia, Australia, and South America, concluding in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on 23 November.
