Kate Ferdinand has shared glimpses of the extravagant 18th birthday party she hosted for her stepson, Tate. The 34-year-old former reality star took to Instagram to document the celebrations, which included poolside decorations, light-up letters spelling Tate's name, and sparklers.
The party featured portraits of the family and throwback photos of Tate attached to burgers for guests to enjoy. Sunglasses with 'Tate 18' on the lenses were also provided. Tate's father, former Manchester United footballer Rio Ferdinand, attended wearing a waistcoat without a shirt underneath and sunglasses, while Kate wore a pale pink dress.
Followers praised the event, with one commenting: 'Love this guys. Looks like a great night had by all.' Tate's brother Lorenz added: 'Unreal night,' with heart emojis, to which Kate replied: 'The best.'
Kate is stepmother to Rio's children Lorenz, Tate, and Tia from his late wife Rebecca, and shares two children with Rio: Cree and Shae. She has previously spoken about her role as a stepmother, revealing that her stepchildren are comfortable with her being called 'Mummy' rather than 'Mummy Kate'.
