Kate Cassidy has revealed she is removing tattoos including her 'angel' tribute to Liam Payne, almost two years after the One Direction star's death in Argentina. The influencer, 27, dated the singer for two years and was with him days before he fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires in October 2024.
Why the tattoo is being removed
In a recent Instagram post, Cassidy confirmed the '444' tattoo on her hand is being lasered off. The number was the pair's 'angel number', and she had also inked 'LP' on her wrist months after Liam's death. But she insisted the removal is simply because the tattoos were 'done poorly', not a permanent erasing. She plans to 'get them redone eventually'.
Liam's note and the '444' significance
Cassidy previously shared that Liam had written her a note including the digits 444, expressing a wish to be engaged and married within a year, signing off: 'Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444.'
Dog Nala rumours
Earlier this month, fans speculated that Cassidy had rehomed the rescue dog she got with Liam shortly before his death, after she was away for three weeks. She clarified on Instagram Stories: 'Reunited!!! No, I didn't rehome Nala. You guys are funny. I had a family friend stay at my apartment with her.' She added that having someone stay in the home with the dog makes them 'feel less confused'.
