A source close to Cassidy told The Sun: 'Her friends are really worried about it because she’s not herself. She seemed to be doing better after Liam’s death, but recently things have started to spiral again.' The insider added that cruel comments about her weight loss have been particularly upsetting.
The source explained that Cassidy continues to post for her influencer career, even if she is 'not smiling on the inside or the outside'. She is travelling with friend Derek Snook, who has been supporting her through her grief.
Despite recently hinting she is ready to date again, Cassidy has remained open about her enduring love for Payne. She said: 'I will always love Liam and that will never change no matter who I meet.
