NFL enthusiasts have spotted a recognizable figure in Madison Beer's latest music video. On Friday morning, the singer released her new track 'lovergirl', which includes a cameo from her boyfriend, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
The NFL star appears throughout the intimate video, carrying, walking alongside, and cuddling with his pop star girlfriend, as she expresses affection for him in the lyrics. In the song, Beer sings: 'I just can't help that I'm a lover girl / Why not embrace a simple pleasure? Let me hold you close / And we can take off all our clothes. I thank God I found you in this lonely world / Why would we ever stop ourselves from doing what feels good? / Baby, if we can, we should.'
The couple seemed inseparable during the video, sharing several intimate moments in front of the camera as Beer debuted the official music video. Fans quickly fell in love with the cameo from the Chargers quarterback, which went viral on social media. Many took to the comments to express admiration for the couple.
'Madison Beer and Justin Herbert in the MV [music video] of lovergirl is the most iconic thing ever. I wish them both the best,' one fan wrote. Another added: 'The visuals?? omg they are THE couple.'
Herbert's appearance comes just one month after he shared a romantic love note to celebrate Beer's 27th birthday. 'Happy birthday to my favorite person of all time. I love you so much. You’ve changed my life forever,' he wrote, sharing a picture of her on his Instagram story. Another post, a selfie of the two together, read: 'I am the luckiest guy alive.'
The couple appeared to take a road trip around Malibu for the singer's latest music video, also capturing moments inside a photo booth shown throughout the video. They went public with their romance late last summer after Herbert was pictured visiting Beer on the set of a music video, and they were subsequently seen dining in Los Angeles shortly after the NFL season began.
Since then, the new power couple has not looked back. Beer frequently attends Chargers games to support Herbert, while he joined her on the red carpet at a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles in January. If there were any doubts about Herbert's commitment to Beer, his music video cameo has removed them entirely.
