Justin Bieber turned heads at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last night, debuting a new back tattoo of his wife Hailey Bieber during a shirtless performance. The 31-year-old singer took the stage in silver silk underwear and black socks, revealing the portrait inked on his upper back.
The tattoo, drawn in faint thin lines, is the centrepiece of Bieber's extensive collection of over 70 designs. It marks his return to the stage after a four-year absence, where he performed stripped-down versions of his songs.
Bieber was nominated for four awards—best R&B performance, best pop solo performance, best pop vocal album, and album of the year—but did not win any. His last Grammys performance was in 2022, when he sang 'Peaches' with Daniel Caesar and Giveon.
Hailey Bieber supported her husband on the red carpet, wearing a semi-sheer custom jersey dress by Pieter Mulier’s Alaïa, accessorised with Lorraine Schwartz silver jewellery, including a 30-carat pendant choker. Both wore slogan pins reading 'ICE OUT', a subtle comment on US immigration policy.
