Junior Andre has opened up about his plans to navigate the festive season, splitting his time between his famous but feuding parents, Peter Andre and Katie Price.
Christmas Day Divided Between Two Households
The 20-year-old, who recently moved into his own flat with girlfriend Jasmine Orr, confirmed it will be business as usual for him this Christmas despite the strained relationship between the former couple. Speaking to The Sun, Junior outlined his traditional holiday schedule.
"So, how I do it every year is split between my parents and this year, I will be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at my dad's with my brothers and sisters there," he explained. "And then I'll be going to my mum's for the afternoon."
He added flexibility to his plans, stating: "And then, yeah, probably just, yeah, spend the rest of the time there. Might stay there, might come back to mine, just depends."
Family Feud Reignited by Daughter's Reality Show
Junior's festive balancing act comes as the long-running rift between his parents, Peter Andre, 52, and Katie Price, 47, was thrust back into the spotlight. The resurgence follows the launch of their daughter Princess's new ITV2 reality show, The Princess Diaries.
Princess, 18, recently revealed that neither of her parents have watched her show. "I actually don’t think either of my parents have watched the show. I don’t think it’s my dad’s thing, it’s more, it’s a show for people my age to watch," she told The Sun.
The show's debut sparked a bitter fallout, with Katie hitting out after being deliberately excluded from filming. The former glamour model expressed feeling "disrespected" and "disregarded," claiming Peter and his management team were behind the snub.
Legal Arrangements and Public Spats
The underlying tensions have deep roots. In August, Peter Andre took to Instagram to reveal that he had sole custody of Junior and Princess from 2018 until they reached adulthood, citing their "safety." He stated a family court issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement in 2019.
Katie Price has persistently blamed Pete and his management, who once represented her, for blocking her involvement in Princess's career ventures. "They have made it clear, they won't allow Princess to do photoshoots with me, they won't allow me to go to any events with Princess because they think I am trash basically," she said on her podcast.
In a bid to reduce conflict, it was recently revealed that Peter and his wife, Emily Andre, 36, have pulled out from the second season of Princess's show to quieten the 'noise' surrounding Katie's absence.
Despite the very public disagreements between his parents, Junior Andre continues to maintain a close relationship with both. His Christmas plans highlight the ongoing effort to manage a complex family dynamic in the public eye.
