July 2025 is set to be a blockbuster month for entertainment, with highly anticipated movies, TV series, and albums scheduled for release. Movies Releasing in July 2025
On 1 July, Illumination's Minions & Monsters, a spin-off of the Despicable Me franchise, hits theatres, along with Enola Holmes 3 starring Millie Bobby Brown on Netflix. On 3 July, Young Washington and Man of War are released.
10 July sees the release of Evil Dead Burn, Disney's live-action Moana, and Night Nurse in theatres. The most anticipated film of the month is Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, starring Elliot Page, Matt Damon, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Travis Scott, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, and Jon Bernthal. It arrives in cinemas on 17 July.
On the same day, Disney+ releases Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, and The Bay opens in limited theatres. TV Series Premiering in July 2025
1 July brings eight episodes of Elle, the Legally Blonde prequel, on Prime Video, and X-Men '97 season two on Disney+. On 3 July, Silo season three starring Rebecca Ferguson returns on Apple TV+. Love is Blind: UK After the Alter releases on 12 July, while Love Island USA finale airs the same date.
16 July sees Will Ferrell and Chris Parnell star in The Hawk, a golf comedy about a champion struggling with his past glory, on Netflix. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds drops on Paramount+ on 23 July, and Shark Week begins on Discovery on 26 July.
Music Albums Dropping in July 2025
July is a massive month for music. On 7 July, Madonna's Confessions II and Sienna Spiro's Visitor (Deluxe) are released. 10 July brings Suki Waterhouse's Loveland and The Rolling Stones' Foreign Tongues.
