Strictly Come Dancing professional Julian Caillon has marked one year since moving to the UK and appeared to confirm his return for the revamped 2026 series of the BBC One dance show.
Caillon shared a video documenting his move from Australia, captioned: "The London Diaries: The Anniversary (Part 1). Can't believe it’s already been 12 months since I made the move and jumped on this crazy adventure."
New hosts and judges
The upcoming series sees Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe replace former presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who stepped down after the 2025 series. Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke all return.
Returning pros from 2025 include Jowita Przystal, Alexis Warr, Amy Dowden, Aljaz Skorjanec, Dianne Buswell, Julian Caillon, Kai Widdrington, Katya Jones, Lauren Oakley, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Vito Coppola, and reigning champion Carlos Gu, who won with former England footballer Karen Carney.
New professionals will be announced closer to the autumn premiere to replace Karen Hauer, Gorka Marquez, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas, who left after the 2025 run.
Support from former partner
Caillon's former celebrity partner, EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, commented on his anniversary post: "Mad love for you, fam! I learned from you - keep your head down and let the work do the talking."
Sopal added: "It's been an incredible year for you, and I'm honoured to have played my little part in making it a wonderful one for you. Here's to another year, and season two of Strictly!"
In a separate Instagram post, Caillon appeared to confirm his return, writing: "Into the last full week of training before @t100triathlon and I think I’m feeling pretty good. One more week before @bbcstrictly kicks off. Bring it on!"
