Hollywood star Julia Roberts dazzled at the London premiere of her new film, Eat Pray Love, wearing a white Stella McCartney tuxedo suit. The 42-year-old actress beamed as she walked the brightly coloured carpet, decorated with floral arches, at the capital's West End.
Roberts, who rose to fame in Pretty Woman, said she hopes the romantic drama inspires audiences. 'I hope this movie inspires people to take a little bit more time out for themselves, and to appreciate what they have,' she told reporters.
The mother-of-three took time to sign autographs and pose for photographs for the hundreds of fans who turned out to support the Oscar-winning actress. The film, based on Elizabeth Gilbert's best-selling memoir, follows a newly divorced woman who quits her job to travel to Italy, India and Bali in search of self-discovery.
Roberts praised the cast, which includes Javier Bardem, James Franco and Richard Jenkins, calling it 'a great challenge' and 'a wonderful cast'. Director Ryan Murphy described his leading lady as 'stunning', while Gilbert admitted she never imagined Roberts would portray her on screen.
Celebrities including Brigitte Nielsen and Ali Bastian were also spotted at the event.
