EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa has reportedly "mentally checked out" of her marriage to former Towie star Dan Osbourne, with insiders claiming the couple's turbulent relationship has reached a permanent end. The 33-year-old soap star, best known for playing Lauren Branning, and Osbourne, 34, tied the knot in 2017 and share two daughters, Ella, 11, and Mia, seven.
No Going Back for Troubled Pair
Sources close to the couple have revealed that after spending much of this year living separate lives, Jossa has finally decided enough is enough. "Everyone knows they've had their troubles, but after spending some time apart this year, they've decided to make the split permanent," a source told The Sun. "Their two daughters are their main priority. After all Jac's been through, she's finally had enough."
Osbourne's Panic and Past Indiscretions
Insiders claim Osbourne is now "panicking" as he realizes Jossa has reached her breaking point. "She has mentally checked out and Dan has panicked," the source added. "He's worried the grass isn't greener and has had the shock of his life that he's pushed Jac too far this time!"
The couple's 13-year relationship has been marked by multiple cheating allegations against Osbourne. Despite marrying at Delamere Manor in Cheshire in June 2017, they split less than a year later, with Osbourne admitting they couldn't "make each other happy."
Repeated Reconciliation Attempts
After rekindling their romance in 2019, their marriage faced further strain from rumors linking Osbourne to Love Island stars Gabby Allen and Alexandra Cane, and accusations from Celebrity Big Brother's Chloe Ayling that he was "making a fool of Jacqueline." In 2020, Osbourne admitted to "making mistakes" but struggled to change his behavior.
The couple announced another split in March last year, only to jet off on a make-or-break holiday to Mexico a month later that briefly appeared to salvage their relationship. However, further allegations emerged in June when Osbourne was accused of getting close to Christine McGuinness following her split from husband Paddy, and was said to be "back to his old tricks" in October 2025 after liking an influencer's bikini photos.
Living Separate Lives
Earlier this year, Jossa reportedly accepted their union was doomed, and Osbourne moved out in February after months of living separately. "She does love him, but some relationships just aren't meant to be," a source explained. "They've been living separate lives all this year and she's over it. There's only so many times she can put herself through living in limbo and taking him back."
Conflicting Reports and Future Prospects
While some reports suggest Osbourne wants to win Jossa back, with a source saying "Dan is understandably upset, it's such a shame and everyone is heartbroken," other accounts claim it was Osbourne who ended the nine-year marriage because he could no longer cope with Jossa's struggle to move beyond his past indiscretions.
"They've been so on and off, for Dan it never really feels over," an insider added. "He'll try to come back, because in the past he always has and it's worked. He's desperate for them to stay as a family and win back Jac."
Jossa, who also has a son Teddy, 12, from a previous relationship, is now said to be focusing on single life while prioritizing her children's wellbeing.
