Josie Gibson has revealed she had to remove her breast implants following a cancer scare. The This Morning host discovered a large lump in her breast in 2023, prompting the removal.
Gibson had undergone breast enhancement surgery in 2013, increasing from a B to a DD cup. Ten years later, she had the implants taken out after the health scare.
She told The Sun that the lump was visible and changed the breast shape, causing her fright. After a GP examination, it was confirmed to be the implant. She described the removal as "one of the best things I’ve done."
Gibson, working with tombola and Breast Cancer Now, said she has no regrets and now has "peace of mind." She also discussed her health, including being diagnosed with gout despite being fit.
She participated in a Channel 5 show, The 1970s Diet, and spoke about her weight and activity levels. She noted she is fit but overweight, and attributed her gout to a lavish lifestyle with little sleep, alcohol, and rich food.
