Josie Gibson is ready to find love again and plans to be with someone who also wants to become a foster carer. The This Morning regular has been single for years, focusing on raising her seven-year-old son Reggie and her career, but now dreams of a big family and opening her home to children in need.
Big family dreams
Talking with Closer Magazine, she said: "If I'd met the right man, I probably would have had about 10. I would love to foster."
Josie also revealed she has been inundated on Instagram with messages that "leave her blushing", hinting she might be ready to start dating apps.
Ready for romance
"She's quite an old-fashioned girl at heart, but she loves a good flirt," a source told the publication. "She likes a real man's man - she's ready to be swept off her feet and wants the butterflies and passion."
The source added: "Josie finally feels she looks good in her underwear and has spent a small fortune on matching lingerie, she's told friends it's a shame to have it go to waste. She's loving the changes and feeling like her pin-up best."
Past relationships
Josie has been serious with Big Brother boyfriend John James Parton, ex-fiancé Luke Sanwo, and Reggie's father Terry James. She pinpointed the exact moment her relationship with Terry crumbled after a critical remark he made.
In a resurfaced interview on White Wine Question Time with Kate Thornton from 2019, Josie recounted the instant she decided to end their relationship. She recalled spending four days cooking Christmas dinner and cleaning up, only for Terry to say: "You haven't even buffed the sides."
"I said 'buff your own b****y sides'," she said. Then he moaned about her shoes in the hallway, and she thought: "do you know what, this is it now."
She continued: "I said: 'If you don't like it, pack our stuff, we will go' and he packed up all our stuff in black bags and took it to a house I rent out. I didn't think he would actually do it."
Josie also condemned her ex's choice to sleep in a "campervan" when Reggie was five months old. She claimed: "We'd come back from the hospital and he didn't even come into the house. He slept in the campervan in the garden, he'd never come in because he needs his sleep. So I got up for all of the night feeds, so it was a build-up of things."
She revealed that while she'd treated her ex to a skiing holiday for Christmas, she received nothing in return, "not even a card from Reg", leading her to spend New Year's Eve at a hotel with her young son.
