Josie Gibson has spoken out about her reduced appearances on This Morning, revealing she has been busy with other projects. The 40-year-old, who has been a regular segment presenter on the ITV show since 2019, addressed her absence while attending the Pride of Britain Awards in London.
Speaking on the red carpet, Gibson said she hasn't stepped away from the show but has been working on a DIY renovation series. 'I'm so blessed and lucky and I'm not going to lie, it's been stressful,' she told The Daily Mail. 'I've hit a lot of hurdles but it's how you get back up.'
The former Big Brother winner stressed that the This Morning team remains like a family to her. 'When you get there, it is lovely to see everybody and we've done a lot of stuff together and we've grown together,' she added.
Gibson last presented the show in August alongside Rylan Clark, covering for regular hosts. The Pride of Britain Awards, hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo, honoured unsung heroes including cancer fundraiser Georgie Hyslop, who met Margot Robbie.
