Sophie Kasaei says Jordan Brook's meningitis battle is 'hardest thing'

Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei has described Jordan Brook's meningitis battle as 'the hardest thing' for her, sharing an emotional update on social media. Jordan, 31, revealed on Saturday that he has been diagnosed with two viruses causing swelling on his brain, and is currently in hospital being monitored for seizures.

In an Instagram video, the ITV star confirmed he has been diagnosed with both viral meningitis and encephalitis, explaining that the swelling on his brain is getting worse. He said he is receiving round-the-clock care, including antiviral medication, pain management, physiotherapy, and seizure monitoring, and has undergone CT scans, MRI scans, and lumbar punctures.

On Sunday, Sophie, who also appears on TOWIE and is pregnant with their first child, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram. She said watching the person she loves 'in pain and fear' is the hardest thing she has ever known, but added that their unborn baby boy is keeping them going.
