JoJo Siwa fans have been left speechless after Chris Hughes declared himself single on BBC's Celebrity MasterChef. The reality TV star, 32, admitted he 'wants a girlfriend' during this week's episode, saying: 'I've been single for three years so it's not like I'm cooking for anyone.'
His comments shocked fans of the couple, who met earlier this year on Celebrity Big Brother and have since shared a romantic connection. One viewer on X questioned: 'Why is Chris saying he’s been single for 3 years?' Another added: 'Chris had been with JoJo for ages and he says he’s single?'
However, it was confirmed that the MasterChef episode was filmed before Chris met JoJo in the CBB house in April. The duo are still very much together and continue to share their journey online. Chris recently revealed the moment he fell in love with the former Dance Moms star, saying: 'Nothing was rushed or forced, it just happened.'
Chris flew to meet JoJo in Mexico shortly after CBB and spent time with her family in Orlando. Six months on, the pair have hinted at wedding plans, with JoJo expressing her hope to walk down the aisle with a baby-blue colour scheme.
