Chris Hughes has opened up about his future with JoJo Siwa, revealing he has considered proposing to the former child star. The pair met on the set of Celebrity Big Brother in 2025 and have been in a whirlwind romance ever since.
The 33-year-old former Love Island contestant admitted he has given marriage serious thought but is not set on a specific location or time. Speaking to The Sun, he said: 'I’ve definitely given it some thought. But I don’t know the exact location or what time of day. I think spontaneity would be good... when it feels right, I’ll know.'
Chris, who comes from a large family, also expressed a desire to have children. He shared: 'I come from a family where you get married, you have children... I would love to be a certain age where I can still swing a club while they’re good players as well.' JoJo has previously stated that becoming a mother is one of her biggest dreams.
The couple currently maintain a long-distance relationship, with Chris based in the UK and JoJo in the US. Despite the challenges, he insisted their connection was immediate, dismissing any notion of a showmance. 'I knew straight away, I really loved her personality. Within days of meeting, I thought, ‘Oh my God, this is going to be my girlfriend’,' he told the publication.
Chris admitted that saying goodbye is tough but noted he frequently visits JoJo and her family in Palm Springs. When asked about relocating to the States, he said: 'It’s more complicated than moving to the north of England... We’re working on it. Who knows…'
