JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have revealed they independently picked out the exact same engagement ring design, despite never discussing it together.
The singer, 23, and former Love Island contestant, 33, began dating after meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2025. Although they initially insisted their relationship was purely platonic, the pair confirmed they were dating shortly after leaving the show.
Ring Design Coincidence Revealed
Speaking to People Magazine at the 12th Annual Industry Dance Awards, JoJo explained that their ideas for engagement rings were shockingly similar. She said she had always expected that if Chris proposed, he would ask her mother what kind of ring she wanted.
JoJo told her mother to tell Chris she wanted him to design the ring completely. However, one day at dinner, the couple decided to show each other what they thought her dream ring looked like, counting down from three before revealing their choices.
When they flipped their phones, both were holding the same photo from Google. JoJo described it as a blue emerald shape.
Relationship Milestones
The Karma hitmaker said things have been 'great' and their relationship has been 'lovely'. She noted they are approaching their year-and-a-half anniversary, which she described as feeling like last week.
In April, JoJo declared her love for Chris on Instagram following a post from her ex, Kath Ebbs. Posting a photo of Chris kissing their dog, JoJo said she was 'missing both my boys'. She followed up with a snap of them embracing on a beach, marking 11 months together.
Kath had earlier shared their original breakup reaction on Instagram Stories, posting a photo kissing her fiancé, Tilly Lucas-Rodd.
