The 63-year-old actor, who was obsessed with A Christmas Carol as a child, has deleted all his Instagram posts and posted three spelling out "Bah Humbug".
Horror Director Ti West at the Helm
Ebenezer is directed by Ti West, best known for horror films, suggesting he will lean into the ghost story side of the festive tale. The film co-stars Rupert Grint as Bob Cratchit and Sir Ian McKellen as Jacob Marley.

The trailer was previously viewed at CinemaCon Las Vegas in April. Ebenezer hits cinemas this November.
