Joe Swash Reveals Stacey Solomon's Annoying Habits in Candid Marriage Chat
Joe Swash on Stacey Solomon's habits that 'get on nerves'

In a refreshingly honest television appearance, Joe Swash has offered fans a rare window into his home life with wife Stacey Solomon, confessing to a few domestic habits that genuinely get on his nerves.

Loose Men Confessions

The 43-year-old former EastEnders actor appeared as a panellist on ITV's Loose Men on Wednesday, 20th November. Alongside Vernon Kay, Rob Rinder, and Jordan Banjo, the discussion turned to the dynamics of family life, particularly in the run-up to Christmas.

Vernon Kay initiated the chat, citing statistics that show women often bear the brunt of festive preparations. He then directly asked Joe about the pressure he feels living with 'Mrs Christmas' herself, Stacey Solomon.

Christmas Duties and Domestic Strengths

Joe Swash was candid about his role in their relationship. "All year there is a pressure on me," he admitted, joking that their front door's ever-changing seasonal display is a reliable calendar for any visitor.

He elaborated on their partnership dynamic, describing it as a team effort where he knows his strengths and weaknesses. "One of my weaknesses is getting involved," Joe confessed. "I like to take a step back because Stacey has got a vision." He painted a vivid picture of their分工, with Stacey as the creative "site manager" and himself as the "tradie" who handles the fetching and carrying to bring her festive vision to life.

The Pet Peeves That Test marital Bliss

Later in the programme, the conversation shifted to pet peeves, and Joe was quick to share two of his. His primary gripe is with noisy eating, and he revealed that his own wife is a chief culprit.

"My Stacey, somehow she can project the volume of the crisps she is eating," he said with a mix of affection and exasperation. "How can you make that louder than it needs to be? That gets on my nerves so much."

His second annoyance is a common household frustration. He detailed the irritation of finding the dishwasher full of clean items, forcing him to unload it simply to get a cup, a task he feels is unfairly defaulted to him.

Joe and Stacey, who tied the knot in 2022, are parents to three young children together—Rex, five, Rose, three, and one-year-old Belle. They also co-parent their teenage sons from previous relationships.
