Joanna Page Wins Taskmaster Season 21; Next Line-Up Announced

Joanna Page has won the 21st season of Taskmaster, bringing joy to audiences after weeks of entertaining tasks. The Gavin and Stacey star triumphed over fellow contestants Amy Gledhill, Joel Dommett, Armando Iannucci, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Fan Reactions and Social Media

Viewers celebrated her victory, with one fan posting: "Joanna page winning taskmaster is the most deserving winner ever." Her performance included long-winded stories that frustrated Greg Davies and a memorable moment smashing an expensive ceramic sheep.

Page shared her win on Instagram, stating: "Oh my God, that was just the best experience ever! I’m over the moon to be the new proud owner of Greg’s head and it’s taking pride of place in my home!" She added: "What an absolute joy to get to make four new incredible friends; Amy Gledhill, Joel Dommett, Armando Iannucci and Kumail Nanjiani." She also thanked Greg Davies, Alex Horne, Andy Cartwright, Andy Devonshire, and Channel 4.

Later, she posted a comical "morning after" photo with her winning statue in bed, prompting co-star Amy to call her an "icon."

Behind the Scenes

During the series, Greg Davies often banned fellow contestants from asking Page questions due to her tendency to talk at length. Page explained: "It was mainly in the prize tasks because everything I brought into the studio has a meaning and a story. So when Greg asked me to explain them, I had to tell the whole story! I do talk a lot." She added: "I think I broke him a little bit. If I opened my mouth and said, ‘Well, when I was seven ….’ you could just see a bit of him dying inside."

Season 22 Line-Up Announced

Following the finale, Channel 4 announced the line-up for season 22 of Taskmaster. The new contestants include Edinburgh Fringe favourite Chloe Petts, award-winning comedian and songwriter Isy Suttie, BAFTA-winning actor and presenter Matt Lucas, actor and ventriloquist Nina Conti, and multi-award-winning comedian Richard Ayoade.
