Ben Affleck Gives Up £48m Stake in Former Marital Home to Jennifer Lopez

Ben Affleck has transferred his entire interest in the former marital home he shared with Jennifer Lopez to the singer, according to court documents. The property, located in Beverly Hills, was purchased for $60.85 million (£48.8m) in May 2023 and is now solely owned by Lopez.

The transfer was part of a modified property settlement following their divorce, which was finalised in January 2025. The documents state that the parties will be responsible for any taxes arising from the transaction, which is classified as a transfer of property among spouses incident to divorce for federal income tax purposes.

The 46,000-square-foot mansion features amenities including a zero-edge pool, basketball and pickleball courts, a gym, a boxing ring, a sports lounge, and a bar. It also includes a separate guest penthouse, caretaker house, guardhouse, and parking for 80 vehicles.

The couple listed the property for $68 million in July 2024, one month before Lopez filed for divorce. A deal for $64 million fell through in December 2024, and the home was taken off the market in July 2025 before being relisted for $52 million two months later. It has yet to attract a buyer.

Lopez has been living in the house while renovating a property in Hidden Hills she purchased after the split. Affleck has bought a five-bedroom home in Pacific Palisades for $20.5 million. The former couple finalised their divorce in January 2025, less than five months after Lopez filed in August 2024.
