Jesy Nelson 'Proud' of Her Body for First Time After 33 Years of Dieting

Jesy Nelson has declared she is finally 'proud' of her body, after 33 years of extreme dieting and low self-confidence. The former Little Mix star, 34, shared a heartfelt post on Instagram celebrating her postpartum figure, posing in her underwear while holding her twin daughters Ocean and Story.

The singer admitted that a difficult pregnancy and premature birth helped her see her body in a positive light. 'I never thought it would have taken having two beautiful baby girls, that I could have potentially lost, to make me realise how incredible my body actually is,' she wrote.

Nelson, who is engaged to Zion Foster, said she wants her daughters to avoid the body image struggles she faced. 'I never want my girls to feel the way I did about my body for so many years,' she added. She urged new and expectant mothers not to be too hard on themselves, reminding them of the incredible feat of giving birth.

Fans praised the singer as a 'role model' for her honest and inspiring message. One follower commented: 'Thank you for using your platform to share what normal bodies look like after having a baby.'

Nelson gave birth to her twins in May at 31 weeks due to twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a rare pregnancy condition. The babies spent months in neonatal intensive care before being allowed home.
