Jessie J has shared an emotional update on her breast cancer journey, thanking her two-year-old son Sky for being her 'biggest ray of light' during the 'darkest times'. The British pop star, 37, posted a sweet video of her toddler repeating the mantra 'Mummy's going to be okay' as she revealed the cancer had not spread.
The singer, who was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in April and underwent a single mastectomy in May, described the video as being from the night before her surgery. She wrote: 'You are my biggest ray of light and with you in my life the darkness will never win.'
Jessie J told fans she had been crying 'happy tears' after doctors confirmed the cancer had not spread. She added: 'Lots of healing to go and one more surgery to make these cousins look more like sisters. But for now it's gratitude time.'
