Football legend Alex Scott faced a surprise of her own upon her exit from the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! camp on Friday, when her girlfriend, singer Jess Glynne, was notably absent from the traditional reunion on the jungle bridge.

Instead of Jess, it was Alex's best friend, Regan, who was waiting to embrace her with a huge hug as she crossed the bridge after being voted out as the first celebrity evictee. Host Dec Donnelly confirmed the arrangement, stating, "Before we let you go over the bridge to Regan, your best friend..."
The moment contrasted with scenes from earlier in the month, when Jess was photographed with Alex at Heathrow Airport, supporting her as she departed the UK for the Australian jungle.

While Jess wasn't there in person, her presence was felt during Alex's time in camp and in the subsequent media fallout. In a conversation with campmate Ruby Wax, Alex made her future intentions clear, declaring, "I will get married to her, I'm just waiting for her to ask. I know my forever is with her."
This revelation put Jess firmly on the spot during her own appearance on ITV's This Morning on the same day.
