Jeremy Kyle has launched a scathing attack on Meghan Markle, slamming what he described as her "most disgusting" move ever. The TalkTV presenter was joined by Dickie Arbiter, the former press spokesman for Queen Elizabeth II, on his show, where they discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes' plan to apologise to Prince William and Princess Catherine.
Planned Apology to the Waleses
They are planning to apologise to the Waleses and the rest of the Royal Family for the remarks they made during their interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, where Meghan claimed there had been "several conversations" within the Royal Family about how dark their baby might be before Prince Archie was born.
"Harry was angry with his family at the time, and backed Meghan up, but they now realise what a low blow it was. They both know they're hot-headed and realise they took things too far, and they should have kept quiet," a source told the Daily Express.
Kyle's Harsh Criticism
This led Jeremy to share what he believes was the lowest blow Meghan has ever made. "Do you know what I thought was her most disgusting and lowest blow? When she mimicked curtsying to her late great majesty the queen on that program, I thought that showed that woman to be entirely what she is," Jeremy raged.
He was referring to the moment Meghan laughed as she recalled meeting the late Queen Elizabeth II for the first time. "We were in the car, driving and he's like: 'You know how to curtsy right?' and I just thought it was a joke," the 45-year-old said in their Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan.
Reenactment and Reaction
She then reenacted the deep curtsy, bowing her head dramatically and spreading her arms wide as she quipped: "Pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty." "Like, was that okay?" Meghan added while laughing, before claiming: "It was so intense."
Dickie agreed with Jeremy that Meghan's behaviour was "revolting" and pointed out how "uncomfortable" Harry looked as he sat beside her. "I couldn't agree with you more. It was revolting. And if you looked at Harry sitting alongside her, he was looking decidedly uncomfortable," the 86-year-old remarked.
"Whether he said anything at the time, I very much doubt it because he's in fear of her. Whether he said anything afterwards, I very much doubt as well. It was a disgusting display of a so-called intelligent person."
