Jennifer Lawrence on boob job and facelift plans

Jennifer Lawrence has revealed she has had breast augmentation surgery as part of her ambition to become a 'sexy mum', and has said a facelift is on her future agenda. The Oscar-winning actress, 36, shared the details in an interview with The Cut, explaining that she wants to look composed at the school gates.

Wanting to be a 'sexy mom'

'I want to be a sexy mom,' she said. 'At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s*** together even when I've just woken up and don't have my s*** together.'

The mother-of-two, who shares two sons with husband Cooke Maroney, underwent the procedure after welcoming her second child last year. She had previously discussed the possibility in a 2025 interview with The New Yorker, saying her body had not quite 'bounced back' after her second pregnancy.

Future plans and current routine

Lawrence has also admitted that a facelift is on her agenda, although she previously denied rumours that she had already had one. In an interview with Vogue, she said she is a fan of 'baby Botox', but with limitations. 'I get baby Botox, but I can't do a lot,' she explained, noting that being able to move her face is essential for her job.

She also said she would like to undergo buccal fat removal, which involves removing fat from the cheeks for a more sculpted look, but fears the change would be too obvious. 'I can't because everybody would know,' she said. Her skincare routine includes prescription tretinoin and nappy cream, and she covers parts of her face with a scarf to protect her melasma from the sun.

Standing up for boundaries on set

Lawrence also spoke about confronting film bosses after discovering unauthorised crew members were present while she filmed nude scenes. She revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she 'came down hard' on those responsible, partly because a less established actress might not feel comfortable speaking out. She questioned what would happen to an unknown 18-year-old actress faced with allowing people she had not consented to see her naked or risking being labelled 'difficult'. The actress, who did not identify the production, said she felt it was important to establish that such behaviour was unacceptable.
