Three's Company star Jenilee Harrison, now 67, has swapped the Hollywood spotlight for a tranquil life on her farm, raising and caring for a variety of animals. The actress, who played the klutzy Cindy Snow on the hit 1980s sitcom, shared recent Instagram videos documenting her daily life with her family and a menagerie of creatures, including a kangaroo joey named Andy nestled in a pouch around her neck.
Fans were quick to praise her stunning appearance, nearly five decades after she first appeared on the show. Comments flooded in, with one admirer writing, 'I know you're Jenny, but all I see is Cindy when I look at you…' Another added, 'I loved your years on Three's Company,' while a third chimed in: 'I love me some Cindy Snow!'
Harrison began her career as a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams before moving into acting with small roles in CHiPs and 240-Robert. She landed the role of Cindy in 1980 after Suzanne Somers left the show amid a contract dispute. Despite her lack of experience, she recalled in an interview, 'When I showed up for the audition…I tripped when I was walking in. I fell over things and grabbed something. They instantly thought, 'Oh, here's our klutzy cousin girl.'
Reflecting on her time on set, she said she was 'welcomed with open arms' and treated like a little sister. However, being a sex symbol was uncomfortable: 'I looked at being a sex symbol as just a wardrobe I had to put on… But was I uncomfortable? Absolutely, many times I was uncomfortable.' After Three's Company, she joined Dallas as Jamie Ewing Barnes for two seasons and appeared in Fantasy Island and The Love Boat.
She left Hollywood in the early 2000s after starring in the TV movie The Power, pursuing her passion for animal care. Harrison was married to Bruce Oppenheim from 1993 until their separation in 2022.
