Jeff Brazier has become a grandfather for the first time after his son Freddy, 21, and girlfriend Holly Swinburn welcomed baby daughter Isla Jade on Saturday. The television presenter, 46, shared pictures from the hospital, showing himself cuddling the newborn alongside a topless Freddy, his brother Bobby and Holly.
The arrival coincided with the 17th anniversary of the death of Jade Goody, the mother of Freddy and Bobby. In an emotional Instagram post, Jeff wrote: “Dear Isla Jade. You have no idea how deeply loved you are. There are so many good people standing behind you, and a very special angel watching over you.” He added that the baby’s parents had given her Jade’s name and promised to tell her all about her grandmother.
The family reunion comes after a period of estrangement between Freddy and his father. Freddy had been living with Jade’s mother, Jackiey Budden, earlier this year despite Jeff taking legal action to block contact. Freddy has previously claimed that his grandmother introduced him to drugs at the age of 12, an allegation she denies.
Freddy and Holly, 22, first met on TikTok in June 2025 and Holly became pregnant two months later. The couple briefly split but reunited at Holly’s baby shower. Freddy has spoken about becoming a father, saying he has been talking to his late mother’s headstone and is determined to be “the best dad he can be”. He told The Sun that Mother’s Day is difficult but added: “Now, I’ll be able to make new memories with my baby daughter.”
