Take That fans were thrilled to see Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, and Robbie Williams reunite for an online concert hosted by Compare the Meerkat. However, the absence of fifth member Jason Orange was keenly felt by many viewers.
The band performed hits such as 'Shine' and 'Back for Good' from their respective homes, but social media was flooded with comments missing Orange, who left the group in 2014.
Orange, a founding member who also contributed to songwriting, announced his departure after the 2010 album 'Progress', stating he no longer wished to record or promote new music. He expressed pride in the band's achievements and emphasised there were no hard feelings.
Since leaving, Orange has largely retreated from public life, reportedly living quietly in the Cotswolds. Robbie Williams recently joked that the band would need a private detective to find him, as he is completely off the grid.
Fans took to Twitter to express their longing for Orange, with comments such as 'I miss Jason Orange' and 'where was Jason? Send him my love'. The trio of Barlow, Donald, and Owen have continued as a three-piece, while Williams pursues his solo career.
