Love Island star Jasmine Muller has spoken candidly about her past relationship with former Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, insisting she is open to dating footballers again. The 27-year-old, who is from Dubai, dated the Spanish full-back in 2021.
Reflecting on the romance, Jasmine said: “That relationship was so long ago, I don't think about it anymore. It was a very healthy and lovely relationship and I suppose it did prepare me a little for high profile things.” She credited her mother, sister and friends as her main support network.
Jasmine, who has 57,000 followers on TikTok, confirmed she is not put off by the WAG lifestyle. “I'm open to getting to know everyone. If I like you, I like you, so I'm not put off from dating footballers,” she said.
Heading into the Love Island villa in Majorca, Jasmine has warned that her biggest turn-off is an insecure man. “My biggest ick is an insecure man. I'm quite a secure woman so I can't date an insecure man. Honestly, how would he deal with me? That's the real question,” she said.
Jasmine also revealed she hopes to follow in the footsteps of last year's runner-up Shakira Khan, who was the first Asian woman to reach the final. “Being a fellow brown girl, it was lovely to see her be so honest. I hope I can do that for other brown girls,” she said.
