Jamie Laing has admitted he 'hates' a new rule imposed by his pregnant wife Sophie Habboo in their home. The Made In Chelsea star, 36, and his wife, 31, are expecting their first child and recently moved into a new house.
Speaking on his BBC Radio 1 show, Jamie revealed that Sophie has introduced a strict 'outdoor clothes and indoor clothes' policy. 'When I go out the house, I have to wear my outdoor clothes and when I come back in the house, I have to change into my indoor clothes so I don’t make anything messy,' he explained.
Jamie confessed that he dislikes the rule but pretends to like it at home. He also shared an embarrassing moment when Sophie caught him 'like a rat running upstairs in my outside clothes'. To comply, he said he gets naked when entering the house.
His co-host Katie Thistleton suggested blaming the pregnancy hormones, but Jamie worried Sophie might be listening and quickly added, 'I just want everyone to know I love, love wearing indoor clothes'.
The couple, who announced their pregnancy in June, have been sharing updates on their podcast, now rebranded as NearlyParents. Jamie recently described feeling 'pure love' when he felt the baby kick for the first time.
