James Martin and his partner Kim Johnson made a cosy appearance on the red carpet at the TV Choice Awards in London on Monday, just weeks after she seemingly confirmed their engagement. The TV chef, 53, and personal trainer, 39, posed for cameras at the Hilton Park Lane hotel ahead of the ceremony.
Kim wore a black evening gown with a plunging neckline and lace panels, accessorised with a silver diamond lariat necklace and gold wristwatch. James, known for his work on Saturday Kitchen, opted for a black velvet tuxedo blazer, black jeans and a white shirt.
The couple's outing follows reports that James proposed over Christmas, with Kim reportedly posting on Instagram: 'So proud of my fiancé' alongside a photo of one of his dishes. The Daily Mail has contacted James's representatives for comment.
James had previously stated he had no desire to marry, telling the Sunday People in 2019: 'Marriage doesn't interest me in the slightest.' The couple have been dating for two years, and Kim moved into his Hampshire home in October.
