One Tree Hill actor James Lafferty and his wife Alexandra Park have announced the arrival of their first child, a baby boy named River Jay Lafferty, born on 4 December 2025. The couple shared the news four months later via a joint Instagram post, featuring a black-and-white photo of their intertwined fingers with the baby's tiny hands, captioned: 'Love has new meaning.'
Lafferty, 39, and Park, 35, first met in 2015 when he directed an episode of The Royals, in which she played Princess Eleanor. They later created and starred together in the series Everyone Is Doing Great, portraying a married couple. The pair tied the knot in Hawaii four years ago surrounded by family and friends.
In an interview, Park spoke about their on-screen and off-screen relationship, saying: 'James and I met working together. That’s one of the things we love about our relationship – we are both so passionate about what we do.' She described Lafferty as her 'best friend' and noted they had been together for nine years before he proposed.
