A woman accused of stalking James Buckley, best known for his role as Jay Cartwright in the hit comedy series The Inbetweeners, and his wife Clair was due to appear in court today. Keavy O'Mahoney, 26, was scheduled to attend Luton Magistrates' Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing after being charged with stalking involving a fear of violence.
The alleged incident occurred between 23 and 25 June 2025, when O'Mahoney is said to have pursued the actor, 37, near his home in Essex, which he shares with Clair and their two sons. Court documents indicate that the couple 'feared on at least two occasions that violence would be used' against them during the alleged stalking.
O'Mahoney was previously bailed at Luton Magistrates' Court after being arrested and charged. As part of her bail conditions, she was banned from using any electronic devices to contact the couple and was required to spend each night at home. She must also not leave without being accompanied by another adult approved by social services.
James Buckley rose to fame playing Jay Cartwright in The Inbetweeners from 2008 to 2010, and later appeared in the film adaptations The Inbetweeners Movie (2011) and The Inbetweeners 2 (2014). He has been married to Clair Meek since 2012, and the couple co-host the podcast At Home With The Buckleys and have appeared together on Celebrity Gogglebox.
