Family and friends gathered today to say a final farewell to former The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star Jake Hall, who died at the age of 35. The funeral took place at St Mary the Virgin in Wanstead, London, on Friday, June 12.
Mourners Pay Their Respects
Jake Hall's ex-girlfriend Chloe Lewis and Misse Beqiri, the mother of his child, arrived alongside other celebrities to pay their respects. White flowers adorned his coffin as it was carried into the church. Most guests wore sunglasses, and a big screen outside displayed the interior of the church where loved ones sat with the order of service.
Tributes from Loved Ones
Misse Beqiri, with whom Hall has an eight-year-old daughter named River, shared a heartfelt tribute following his death. She wrote: "I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable. There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter's. You lit up every room you walked into – your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air."
The Only Way Is Essex also paid tribute in a statement: "Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today’s very sad news."
Jake Hall's Career and Life
Hall shot to fame on TOWIE in 2015 as a friend of Vas J Morgan and the ex-boyfriend of Chloe. He was a regular on the reality TV series from series 14 to series 17. Hall also ran a menswear brand, By Jake Hall, and previously dressed David Beckham with his clothing line. He quit TOWIE in 2024.
He is reported to have been found dead at a Spanish holiday villa after suffering head injuries. According to reports, he was found in a pool of blood with head wounds caused by shards of glass.

Among those attending the service were David Beckham's mother Sandra and sister Joanne, as well as TOWIE stars James Argent, Lydia Bright, and Liam 'Gatsby' Blackwell.
