Jaime Pressly, the 48-year-old actress best known for her role as Joy Turner on the hit NBC sitcom My Name Is Earl, has announced the launch of an OnlyFans account. The platform, known for adult content, will allow Pressly to offer her fans a more personal glimpse into her life.
Pressly's Statement on the Move
In a statement to Variety, Pressly explained her decision: 'I've always believed in evolving with the times. This is another way for me to connect directly with my audience, on my own terms, with creativity and intention. I've loved meeting fans at various Comic Cons, and the excitement of having those real face to face moments made me want to seek options like OnlyFans.'
The actress, who also starred in the sitcom Mom, launched her page on May 7. She promises subscribers a side of her that 'Hollywood doesn't always get to see.'
What Subscribers Can Expect
In her OnlyFans bio, Pressly wrote that followers can look forward to 'behind-the-scenes moments from my life' and 'late-night thoughts and candid moments.' She added, 'If you ever wonder what I'm really like when the script ends…come closer.' Subscribers will also have access to 'direct chats' with the Emmy-winning actress.
Pressly won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2007 for her role in My Name Is Earl, which aired from 2005 to 2009. She also appeared in films such as Not Another Teen Movie, Joe Dirt, and I Love You, Man, and had roles in TV series like Elsbeth, The Conners, and Welcome to Flatch.
Industry Support and Trends
Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators Inc., who consulted Pressly on her OnlyFans launch, commented: 'Jaime Pressly has the rare mix of mainstream star power and a real audience connection that modern platforms reward. She's an elite entertainer, and fans are going to love what she creates here.'
Pressly joins a growing list of actors pivoting to OnlyFans. Last month, American Pie star Shannon Elizabeth announced her own account, telling People: 'I've spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career. This new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans.'
Elizabeth added, 'I'm choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free. I really do think this is the future.' Within a week of launching, sources told Page Six that she had already 'made over seven figures' from the platform. Her representative also noted that she plans to donate some of the funds to her charity, the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, which supports programs for animals, people, and the environment.
