Jacqueline Jossa is embracing a new chapter in her life following her definitive split from husband Dan Osborne, with sources close to the actress revealing she has declared "enough is enough" after years of turmoil in their relationship. The former couple, who share two daughters, have ended their nine-year marriage, and insiders confirm there is no reconciliation in sight this time.
A Relationship Marked by Repeated Struggles
Jossa, 33, and Osborne, 34, first got together thirteen years ago, marrying in a lavish ceremony at Delamere Manor in Cheshire in June 2017. However, their union was plagued by instability from the outset, splitting less than a year later with Osborne publicly stating they couldn't "make each other happy." Despite rekindling their romance in 2019, the marriage faced continuous challenges, primarily due to multiple cheating allegations against Osborne.
Forgiveness and Final Straws
Throughout their relationship, Jossa repeatedly forgave Osborne despite rumours linking him to other celebrities, including Love Island stars Gabby Allen and Alexandra Cane, as well as Celebrity Big Brother's Chloe Ayling, who accused him of "making a fool of Jacqueline." In 2020, Osborne admitted to "making mistakes" but struggled to change his behaviour.
The couple attempted a make-or-break holiday to Mexico in March last year after announcing a split, briefly appearing to salvage their marriage. However, further incidents, such as accusations in June about Osborne getting close to Christine McGuinness and his social media activity liking an influencer's bikini photos in October 2025, pushed Jossa to her limit. A source explained, "She's a strong, resilient woman, but enough is enough. She is a busy mum and she just wants to put the focus back on work."
Focusing on Family and Career
With Osborne now reportedly living in a house he allegedly purchased without Jossa's knowledge in 2024, the actress is prioritising her daughters, Ella, 11, and Mia, seven, and her thriving career. Jossa first rose to fame as Lauren Branning on EastEnders in 2010 at age 17, leaving the show in 2018 before winning I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2019.
After experiencing financial difficulties post-EastEnders, as she revealed on The Sam And Billie Show podcast in 2022, Jossa returned to the soap in 2023 to fan acclaim. Now single, she is reportedly "going from strength to strength" with significant storylines and new work opportunities. "She's getting some great leads in EastEnders now and there's other work coming in as well," the source added.
Embracing Independence
Insiders emphasise that Jossa is in a much better place emotionally, no longer feeling "in limbo" and enjoying her independence. "She's going to enjoy being on her own," the source said. "She doesn't need to be with a man to feel validated." While Jossa aims to maintain a friendly relationship with Osborne for their children's sake, she has accepted that their romantic partnership is over for good.
The split, finalised after months of living separately with Osborne moving out in February, marks a new beginning for Jossa as she focuses on personal growth and professional success, leaving behind the rocky past with Osborne.
