Coronation Street star Jacob Roberts, who plays Detective Kit Green on the ITV soap, is in a relationship with co-star Caitlin Connolly, the show's publicity manager. The couple went Instagram-official in October 2025.

A source told The Sun: “They’ve been together for a while now, it’s very sweet. They seem besotted with each other and it’s been an open secret they’re an item for quite a while.” The pair regularly share photos together and took a trip to America, posing for a sweet selfie and sharing a meal.
Jacob previously dated PR executive Amy Harris for five years before they split in 2024. They both removed any pictures of each other from their Instagram accounts.

Roberts joined the ITV cobbles in 2024 as Kit Green, the long-lost son of Bernie Winter. His character later discovered he had a secret child, Brody Michaelis, and has been helping girlfriend Sarah Platt cover up the murder of Theo Silverton.
Speaking about his work on Corrie after a career in Hollyoaks, Jacob said he leaves the plots to the soap writers. He said: “I don't really go upstairs and ask for meetings or anything like that. I prefer to just see what I get in my scripts and find a way to make it right for me. That's part of the process of being an actor in a soap. They know what's best for my character, so I leave them to it.”
He added to Inside Soap magazine: “Even when he's being dodgy, I believe he's doing it for the right reasons. It's nice to play the darker part of his character. That's more exciting. I do prefer Kit to be dodgy rather than good!”
