Jack White's Son Turns 18: A Look at the Rockstar's Family Life

Jack White, the former frontman of The White Stripes, recently celebrated his son Henry Lee White's 18th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post. The musician shared photos from shortly after Henry's birth, expressing his love and pride for his son. Henry, born in 2007, has largely stayed out of the public eye, but the post highlighted the close bond between father and son.

White and his second wife, model and singer Karen Elson, were married from 2005 to 2013. They have two children together: Scarlett Teresa White, now 19, and Henry. The couple prioritised their children's privacy, raising them mostly in Nashville. Despite their divorce, White and Elson have maintained a respectful co-parenting relationship, focusing on providing a stable environment for their kids.

In a 2025 interview with Esquire, White discussed how fatherhood changed his touring approach: 'I changed my method of touring once my kids were born… which was to try make everything two weeks on, two weeks off.' He also noted that his children have been 'exposed to so much music around them.'

Elson praised White's parenting in an interview with Maisonette, saying: 'I feel really lucky that he is their dad because he is a great father. He has a lot of integrity. He walks the walk, and that makes all of this a lot easier.'

White occasionally incorporates family into his music career. In February 2025, Scarlett joined him onstage during his No Name Tour, a moment that showcased their close relationship. White is now married to his third wife, musician Olivia Jean, whom he proposed to on stage in Detroit and married in 2022.
