Jack Osbourne has revealed the one rule his father Ozzy would follow despite his wild rock star reputation.
The I'm A Celebrity star was answering fan questions on his YouTube channel when one viewer asked about footage showing the Prince of Darkness repeatedly tapping his wrist while performing.
Jack, 40, explained there was a simple reason behind the habit – Ozzy was keeping a close eye on the clock as he didn't like to break venue's curfews and receive a fine.
Why Ozzy Watched the Clock
He said: "Curfew is a huge issue when you're playing live. A lot of these venues, if you go past the curfew, you get fined for every minute over."
Despite his reputation as one of rock's wildest frontmen, Ozzy took the timing of his performances seriously and wanted to make sure he didn't overrun.
Jack said his dad would often look over towards his assistant or the monitor desk to check how much time he had left on stage.
He added: "He probably was looking over to his assistant or to the monitor desk to see how long he's got or how long he's been going, that kind of thing and they would signal him."
Family Marks One Year Since His Death
The revelation offers fans a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes, showing that beneath Ozzy's larger-than-life persona was a consummate professional who knew exactly how important it was to finish a show on time.
And it comes as the Osbourne family are marking one year without the rock icon with both Jack and Kelly sharing heartbreaking tributes in his honour.
Speaking about his plans for the 22nd, which is the anniversary of his death, Jack said: "What I want is anyone who wants to share a story about my dad - to share a story. Whether it's the first time you listened to his music, or the time you saw him play live or had an encounter with him or just what his music meant to you.
"That's what I want, I want to fill the entire day with awesome Ozzy stories. Spread the love - that's what my dad would want, he wouldn't want us sat around shedding tears, that's not his vibe, he didn't like people crying in front of him."
