Jack Osbourne has revealed that he broke a major rule on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! by smuggling a burner phone into the jungle. The podcast host, who finished seventh alongside Lisa Riley, admitted he handed over a secondary device when producers confiscated contestants' phones, allowing him to keep his real mobile in the hotel.
Contestants are typically banned from contacting friends and family before entering camp to prevent them from learning details about Bushtucker trials. However, after a flight cancellation caused him to arrive late in Australia, Osbourne circumvented the rule. He told The Sun he used the hidden phone to call his wife Aree, mother Sharon, and children, saying: 'I had work to do... I gave them a secondary phone when I landed. I was like, yeah, there’s my phone.'
Upon leaving the jungle, Osbourne also revealed that his wife is 28 weeks pregnant with their second child. He described the news as 'healing' following the death of his father, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July after a heart attack. 'It’s awesome. I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing,' he said.
Some fans found Osbourne's constant hovering in the kitchen difficult to watch, while others speculated it was a sign of grief. Alison Hammond suggested on Unpacked that it might have been 'too soon' for him to participate after his father's death.
