Natasha Gillies, a beloved radio presenter on Dublin City FM, has died unexpectedly in Spain, her family confirmed. The 46-year-old, known as Tasha, hosted The Irish Business Show for several years after joining the station in 2018.

Family Launches GoFundMe for Repatriation

Her sister, Aimee Whelan, launched a GoFundMe page to raise funds to bring Natasha's body back to Ireland for a proper funeral. As of writing, €4,065 of the €4,500 goal has been raised. Aimee described Natasha as "a bright light to everyone who knew her" and asked for public support to "help bring Natasha home."

Tributes and Career

Natasha interviewed prominent businesspeople and entrepreneurs on her show. She was also an ambassador for the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and ran an events company. Aimee's tribute said: "Tasha was a bright light... she was kind, funny, loved adventures, and was passionate about her business and being on stage, making people smile."

The family plans to lay Natasha to rest next to her father in Dublin's Glasnevin Cemetery. The GoFundMe page, titled 'Help bring Natasha home,' aims to cover international repatriation, funeral arrangements, and travel costs.
